FAQ
-
What Should I Expect In The First Session?
Your first session will be an opportunity for you and your therapist to get to know each other. The therapist wants to understand what led you to seek counseling and your goals, so a treatment plan can be tailored specifically for you.

How Much Do Sessions Cost ?
50-minute sessions are $160. EMDR Intensives are available for 90-minute sessions at $250 or $350 for 120 minutes.
-
Can I Start EMDR Right Away?
No, Before the actual trauma reprocessing part of EMDR (which is the part people usually think of), there's a whole preparation phase where you build up emotional regulation skills, stabilization techniques, and inner resources.
This often includes things like:
Developing a safe/calm place you can mentally go to
Practicing grounding techniques
Strengthening your ability to self-soothe
Learning containment strategies for overwhelming memories
